Would you like to knit her? It's easy – you'll find everything that you need to knit a cuddly dodo inside this fun knit kit! 

Each bird knitting kit is carefully handmade and packed by me, and will contain all the yarn and notions that you need to knit a cute dodo  – No need to order all the different yarns and bits and pieces – you can sit back, relax, and start knitting straight away. It's all there for you!

You’ll need a pair of 4mm knitting needles, and a yarn darning needle to make Dora. If you'd like to add these to your kit, each pair of 25cm long high quality Pony aluminium knitting needles are £2, and a pack of 2 Pony darning needles are £1.

Is Dora suitable for beginners?

Yes. She is simply knitted flat, on 4mm knitting needles, making her a good project for a beginner: no need to knit in the round. You’ll need to know how to make loop stitch, see below, which makes her slightly more complex than some of my other designs.

Basic knitting skills that you’ll need to know:

Stocking stitch, increasing by knitting into the front and back of a stitch (inc 1) and decreasing by knitting 2 stitches together (k2tog). You’ll need to know how to make loop stitch - check out my loop stitch tutorial to learn how!

All kit and parcel packaging is plastic-free, and recyclable.
